I still want to delete them before it's too late.  If we miss it before 
2.2 ships and is tagged, we no longer have the choice.  The disk space is 
too great to ignore.

Also, by "delete", I do *not* mean "destroy".  I simply collect them into a 
tarball and move them out of the repository.  If they are needed, we can 
simply recover them or reimport.  Reimporting them is easy in any case, we 
just import the files that we need.
