I just feel that word processing is not my forte, so to be user-friendly,
a wp should make it as easy as possible for me to concentrate on writing
and the end result, not worrying about how to process a document with
complex commands and codes. Besides, i like my cut and paste, italics,
bold, etc, as well as auto spell check and convenient page layout. Now,
i'm not saying i want bloatware. Frankly, if abiword were reasonably bug
free, i would be a happy camper: 3 megs, and does all the basics. But i
don't trust it right now, and it is still missing some major features.
WordPerfect and StarOffice are huge, and Applix costs more that i have
(unless they offer student discount!).
