Hope is not a plan. :)  How about adding a comment to the effect that
"this is broken, and needs someone to adopt it"? At least that would
explain why it's commented out so that people like me don't un-comment
it and wonder why their box won't boot (true story). It might also
attract an actual human to look at it ...
