yeah, you're right, it's there and now i remember i went through it a 
few months ago when i was configuring my first bsd installation. (i'm 
sorry, my memory is not very good anymore.)

the reason i skipped it is most likely that it's under section "SMP 
Debugging Options" which didn't sound to me to be (useful) for my 
laptop. i'll try it now.
