I have had a lot about two years ago :) Unfortunatelly since that time I almost did not have a time to dig into -mdoc and manpages translation issues. But I know hwo did (hi, Ruslan *wave*) :-) I'd suggest you to wait few days until Ruslan Ermilov come back from vacation and ask him about better way to translate manual pages macros and infrastructure. He is most expirienced person in project related to *roff issues and almost completely rewrote and much extended my stuff related to manpages translation support wrote back in 4-CURRENT days.
