Mental note to self: x11/gnome "depends on" x11/gnome-base and x11/gnome-extra (hyphens intentional, to differentiate from other gnome ports, that don't have hyphens). Better? That way, the end-user who clicks on the "I want GNOME" button gets a fully-functional system, and those that are just developing or testing gnome ports should generally only have to worry about have gnome-base installed. Whilst there will be screams of "bloat", having as few different types of GNOME dependency as possible makes things a lot easier on everybody. -aDe -- Ade Lovett, Austin, TX. ade@FreeBSD.org FreeBSD: The Power to Serve http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
