One XO laptop will be sent to the buyer and one laptop will be sent to a child in a poor, developing country. The XO laptops use AMD Geode CPU, but without standard PC BIOS and without VGA/EGA/CGA. The XO laptops do not support off-the-shelf/unmodified Linux. Linux run on top of XO with modified/patched kernel. Is it possible to port FreeBSD for ia32 to OLPC XO laptops? Who can do this project? Thank you. _____________________________________________________________ = You want FREE web-based email ? = You want your own @qon.lao.net address?? = Then you want LaoNet's WebMail ! = Get it at http://webmail.lao.net !!
