There is a note in http://www.freebsd.org/~yokota/sc_update-June.txt, which is referenced by /usr/src/UPDATING, about this option. ----------------------------------------------------------------- options SC_PIXEL_MODE Syscons has supported the raster console mode (VESA 800x600) by default. This is now an optional feature, and must be explicitly enabled by SC_PIXEL_MODE.
