Well crap...looks like i'm just a friggin' idiot....nobody told me that
the drives get listed at the very end of the boot process now....when my
system stops unexpectedly for a few moments, i get worried....i kept
rebooting before it picked up the friggin' drives!  Consider this a big
"Never mind"
