If you are having problems like system crashes when fxtv starts up or a few seconds there after, most likely the problem is due to your PCI chipset. If you are not sure , post or e-mail to your Bt848 card manufacturer and specifically ask if there are any known issues with your card and your CPU /PCI setup. Just went to www.stb.com and it seems that they are having problems with VIA chipsets and it appears that for some motherboards Hauppauge may have a hardware work around . So take it up with your manufacturer. Please include this warning in the Bt848 Web Page. Amancio
