Same here; I apparently solved it but the solution is probably random - i.e. "something changed" and "it works for now". Last things I did was to upgrade to latest 8-STABLE and recompile the driver with the modified port using the 275.09.07 driver version, with the following options turned on: ACPI_PM, LINUX, WBINVD. I have no idea if these helped or it's just by accident - I don't trust the driver.
