I would download the ISO Image and burn that to a cd-rom.
The ISO is located at ftp.freebsd.org
Under /pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/ISO-IMAGES/
You can write these to cd-rom using cdwrite or also renaming them to .ISO
and burning them in windoze.
