Wait a few seconds (usually until the light > on the drive stops blinking) and try mounting it again. Of course, I tied to mount after the driver stops blinking. And I had 'Device busy' message immediately and drive did not even blinked. I've just reproduced this here. My system is now 4.4-STABLE of 24 November 2001.
