Lets be honest here. It is no longer a question of "if" but rather "when" will Google & Microsoft and then all of the other carriers follow suit and limit access to their products only by apps employing OAuth2 access. I feel that this is something that we have to take very seriously. This change included that the IMAP server now supports only XOAUTH2. The client log: [17:15:17] IMAP> 1 CAPABILITY [17:15:17] IMAP< * CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 AUTH=PLAIN AUTH=XOAUTH2 SASL-IR UIDPLUS MOVE ID UNSELECT CHILDREN IDLE NAMESPACE LITERAL+ [17:15:17] IMAP< 1 OK CAPABILITY completed. It looks like it says it allows plain but this seems to be wrong. So XOAUTH2 support is needed to login. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list Users@lists.claws-mail.org https://lists.claws-mail.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/users
