The "normal" default file session handler works, but when I try a custom session handler (because I want to save session info to a database), the session_write never gets called, only the open and read. I've already asked on the PHP list, and have had a few responses, but none that help with this yet. I have seen this exact same behavior at a former job, and it ended up being some sort of config issue, but I can't remember what. I thought this was in the FreeBSD problem reports, but I can't seem to find it. When I installed the port, I selected zlib, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and transparent session ID in the little configure screen that comes up. Environment info: FreeBSD 4.4 PHP 4.0.6 Apache 1.3.20 -- Sean LeBlanc:seanleblanc@attbi.com Yahoo:seanleblancathome ICQ:138565743 MSN:seanleblancathome AIM:sleblancathome Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it. Management QOTD:I agree. Clearly this group should take this off-line and keep the faith regarding the startup mentality.
