Usually I just leave it and the pc will shutdown eventually. Today I saw a new message that I think is related. ACPI error cannot release mutex [ECMX] synclevel mismatch: mutex 1 current 0 20090521 emutex-529 . . . . . . . Evaluation of query method -Q66 failed AE_....... PC shutdown so I did not have time to write everything down. I have a photo of the screen if anyone is interested. My question is: Can anything be done to minimize the shutdown time or do I have to accept it? Thanks /Leslie
