--=-XV6uAUNk92Sxu/OiP2kp Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Coming from a linux background, I understand that up to the 2.4.x series of kernels that scsi emulation is required of ide drives in order to burn CDs. This will no longer be a requirement with the new 2.6.x series of kernels. What is the current requirement in FreeBSD? Is this scsi emulation required and, if so, will this change in the near future? Thanks. --=20 Cheers, Trey --- The beauty of the soul shines out when a man bears with composure one heavy mischance after another, not because he does not feel them, but because he is a man of high and heroic temper. - Aristotle --=-XV6uAUNk92Sxu/OiP2kp Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQA/zA8mhEPwaJRohq4RAuTTAJ9KunSn4zRwxxum4tsBXhDgrmRxWwCgv9hd wncmKBODsxe9GG4rvzboesU= =GASy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-XV6uAUNk92Sxu/OiP2kp--
