Hi there, Since upgrading to a new motherboard, new HD, new video card I have been having some stability problems with 2.1-RELEASE. Prior to this upgrade I can't remember the last system panic but I have had a few in the last couple of days. Initially I thought it was probably video related (I am using a Tseng ET4000/W32 but using the SVGA server) but now I'm not so sure. Upon coming home from work today I saw that the system had paniced and rebooted at about the time it should have been processing incoming newsbatches fetched over UUCP. The panic info was thus: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ putte:~> gdb -k /var/crash/ bounds* kernel.0* kernel.1* vmcore.0* vmcore.1* putte:~> gdb -k /var/crash/kernel.0 /var/crash/vmcore.0 GDB is free software and you are welcome to distribute copies of it under certain conditions; type "show copying" to see the conditions.
