If Peter is willing to port his code over? I don't quite parse this. Peter is going to do the work of merging LukeM ftpd and getting LukeM to accept all the changes? Ie, the hope is to put LukeM ftpd into src/contrib/ and treat it as typical src/contrib/ software. > Since this is a plain addition, that should be fairly trivial. I guess your line of thinking will be the death wish of any code shareing then. IMHO no new local hacks should be introduced w/o talking to LukeM first to see if he would accept such changes back. Or is one of you guys going to offer to add all the _WONDERFUL_ enhancements that he has made to the BSD ftpd that makes it so 90% of the proftpd and wu-ftpd users need those very vulnerability ridden and crufty pieces of software? -- -- David (obrien@FreeBSD.org) GNU is Not Unix / Linux Is Not UniX To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-arch" in the body of the message
