I'm writing an article about FreeBSD on Japanese magazine. I've installed FreeBSD 2.1.5-RELEASE on a wide variety of environment (to write this article), and I found that FIPS'ed DOS partition is incompatible with MSDOSFS, so, o files in FIPS'ed DOS partition sometimes failes even on read-only operation. o directories in FIPS'ed DOS partition sometimes shows broken filename to the system. o FIPS'ed partition can't be used as an installation medium of DOS-partition installation Are these problems fixed on 2.2-SNAP or -current? -- HOSOKAWA, Tatsumi E-mail: hosokawa@mt.cs.keio.ac.jp hosokawa@jp.FreeBSD.org WWW homepage: http://www.mt.cs.keio.ac.jp/person/hosokawa.html
