I currently have service through erols.com and whereas I don't know if they
know FreeBSD from a hole in the wall, I have had no problem with them. I never
get busy signals, and haven't had any problems with my mail. These 2 being the
only services besides news for which I use them. I have a static IP from them
(~$75/yr) which allows me to do dial on demand NAT for my 8 host home network.
I would be happy to post my ppp.conf file if it would help.

Now that I think about it though, the one time I wanted support, I was
reporting a rooting of my FreeBSD gateway that appeared to come from one of
their machines. My email notification received not even an acknowledgement of
receipt.
