(Although going to -stable wouldn't be a bad idea, it is unnecessary in this case.) Please see the sample cvsup files under /usr/share/examples/cvsup, in particular ports-supfile. Just change the "host=" line to point at your nearest cvsup mirror (there's a list in the handbook, IIRC) and run "cvsup -g -L2 /usr/share/examples/cvsup/ports-supfile".
