Hi all,
there seems to always be some new issue installing
FBSD I find ( mainly due to my ignorance perhaps?)
I installed 4.2  on a 100 pentium and several other
types of machine. Basic install. need it to dial out
to my ISP.
I can get it to do interactive ppp sessions as long as
there are NO NICs up! As soon as I put a network card
up ppp interactive mode hangs and never gives me a
prompt!
I am tearing my hair out....
What can it be. I have never had the before but every
time on whatever oldish machine...this wierdness
occurs.
HELP please...suicide is very close
