As it's the problem occur during the installation, I can't execute any command but I'm using an IBM T30 with an pentium 4M

when launching the installation from the cdrom, I got the first screen asking for the type of installation to start, then during the boot, the system hangs with cbb0: [MPSAFE]
I tried starting the installation without apm or in safe mode but the same problem occur
