What seems to be happening is that I make the port but it then doesnt work. First is WordPerfect 8. I tried to install it originally as Corel recommended, but that failed. I then tried to make it under the 3.1-Release ports (after downloading the correct file) and it still failed. Here is the breakdown: myname# make install ===> Installing for wordperfect-8.0 ===> wordperfect-8.0 depends on file: /compat/linux/lib/libc.so.5 - found This installation of WordPerfect will expire in 90 days, unless you retrieve a free registration key from https://livewire.corel.com/wp8LinuxReg/ to register your copy TODAY. Do this now! The installation default directory /usr/local/lib/corel must be accepted for installation to proceed correctly. If the installation needs to be relocated, set PREFIX and restart the installation. ln: remove.wp: File exists Please Wait .ELF binary type not known. Use "brandelf" to brand it. Abort trap Available Platforms: decalph hp9000 linux ncr rs6000 sco scodt sol86 solaris sunos Enter Selection: linux <== I enter linux here (tons of directories not found with this error: ELF binary type not known. Use "brandelf" to brand it. Abort trap) Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Neill _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
