I have the following system: 486 SX, 12 Mb ram 540 Mb 7540 AV 1280 Mb Quantum fireball 127 Mb IBM-something Promise EideMax isa eide controller card ...and an ide controller integrated on the motherboard It's no problems to install if I run without the EideMax card, but when I insert the card and try to boot from the boot disk, it won't even prompt. Is it possible to install freebsd with this configuration? Thanks for your time /David Israelsson, tomt@medio.mh.se
