Hmm... Maybe I'm missing something, but in case you change in -release
instead of -stable, wouldn't it be possible that some change made before
that changed something so that the bug just moved to another place?

Or that the new change against -release will cause a bug in the last 
change to -stable?

Or have I gone into a deep marsh and am missing everything?
