Any tips are welcome. 5-RC1 went on a libretto (net install) flawlessly. It actually surprised me somewhat - I'd started off looking for a linux distro because I assumed that someone must've done the legwork already. (The only issue I really have with it is that the newer X neomagic driver is "smart enough" to "know" that 800x480 isn't a valid resolution - at least, that's what it claims in the logs.) -- jan grant, ILRT, University of Bristol. http://www.ilrt.bris.ac.uk/ Tel +44(0)117 9287088 Fax +44 (0)117 9287112 http://ioctl.org/jan/ Personal responsibility for corporate decisions: if they've nothing to hide, they've nothing to lobby against.
