Hmm, i think this is basically not much more than dset(8) does for us (and thus, you could even use the same technology as dset to implement it). But perhaps this combined into a nifty tool that lets you interactively select which drivers to use (thereby also reading the LINT file to offer new drivers or features) might be interesting.
