The www/mod_jk2 port detects if you have apache2 installed and automatically sets WITH_APACHE2 for you: .if exists(${LOCALBASE}/include/apache2/apr.h) WITH_APACHE2=3D yes .endif mod_rpaf and mod_rpaf2 both use ${PORTSDIR}/www/apache2/Makefile.modules.3rd which has similar logic to detect the installed version of apache.
