The majority of GNOME build errors can be solved by making sure _all_ your
GNOME dependencies are up-to-date.  If you haven't upgraded in a while, I
suggest:

# pkg_delete -r ORBit
# cd /usr/ports/x11/gnome
# make clean
# make install clean

This should take care of things for you.  Use freebsd-gnome@ if you have
more questions, or still have problems with the build.
