Hi,

I have a 5.0-CURRENT system (build date 25th of May) with SMP kernel.
Because my SMP mainboard is under repair I placed the disk in a
temporary uniprocessor machine. When I try to boot, the following panic
occurs:

panic: pmap_bootstrap: no local apic! (non-SMP hardware?)
cpuid = 0; lapic.id = 00000000

I understand this problem, but is there some workaround? I don't have a
non-SMP kernel on that machine (the kernel.GENERIC is a leftover from
FreeBSD 4) and I guess there is no possibily to rebuild the kernel
without booting first..
