Subject: Freeze with 2.2CAM-19980716-SNAP + XF863323 + PII + S3V

	This is quite strange:

Config:

	Asus P2B-LS (PII/333) with on-board fxp0 and ahc 7890,
128 MB RAM, and 2 x Quantum Viking II.

Symptom:

When running X under certain conditions
(must be X server supporting S3V chipset accel., like XF86_SVGA,
or XF86_S3V), and with certain programs, the machine will freeze
	instantly (no panic, nada).

One way to reproduce it systematically:

	- launch KDE
	- in the KFM (file manager), repeatedly open the pull down
menus. After 2 or 3 tries -> freeze.

Sometimes the problem happens right after starting the X server
(and at least 1 or 2 windows), but it's less common

NOTE: This does NOT happen with XF86_VGA16, for example.

I am running the 2.2CAM snap (had to with the 7890).

	Also:

	1) P&P disabled, APM disabled

	Any ideas ?
