While I'm at this porting thing, I figure I'll do a vic port; the one in the
tree is still for 2.6 .  I had to modify the configure script to allow for
our names for tcl and tk shared libraries, but other than that it's pretty
straightforward.  My question is: are all the drivers that we like to have
available in the vic-2.8 distribution (I see the qcam and meteor)?
