	Take a look at /sys/i386/conf/LINT and look at the options for cpu's.
You will probably want to add one or more of the timing options. You
might also experiment with the *CALIBRATION* options at the end of the
LINT file in the undocumented section. 
	Most importantly, if you find a solution to your problem please post it
here so that it will be in the archives for future generations. :)
