I have successfully set up ipfw now but encountered some odd behaviour when I tried using the -q option of ipfw with a filename. this works: ipfw -q <any command> and this works: ipfw <filename> but this: ipfw -q <filename> results in: ipfw: error: Bad arguments which is followed by the usage info as printed by the "ipfw" command. This was brough to my attention when I tried using firewall_quiet="YES" in rc.conf. Is there some reason these two options are not compatible? --- Brook Miles <forger@bcgrizzly.com> FreeBSD/i386 3.0-RELEASE To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
