I'd been toying recently with building OpenWRT natively under FreeBSD, but my Google-fu failed to reveal the necessary "how to". So, I had a student but it out. We've put up short description of how we prepared FreeBSD 9.1 to support OpenWRT's build system: http://caia.swin.edu.au/urp/diffuse/openwrt/buildunderfreebsd.html (There are some limitations of our scheme noted at the bottom of the page.) cheers, gja
