They supported FreeBSD and gave it marketing and a face. How? Via your purchases, back before you could so easily download it. Now, yes, prices have gone up, or at least feel that way. But even if you, as an individual feel that its worth saving 40.00 to max out your DSL for a a bit and make a few cds at home, if you use FreeBSD at your company, you should get them to subscribe to the CD's! Maybe as an individual it's not cost effective for you. But there is no reason to let your company off the hook if you can help it. Nicole
