try:
# kldload snd_driver
# cat /dev/sndstat

if it loaded something you will find your right sound module listed there.
(snd_driver try to load all snd modules)

when you will sure about the right one put it in /boot/loader.conf

p.s.
are you sure your loader.conf is correct?
