Hmm, I've once ported svgalib to FreeBSD (long ago), but I wasn't
impressed with it. I think its just too limited in functionality
regarding support of graphics chipsets (and I see no way this could
be improved easily).
If however you want to do games, syscons allready allows to
set up std VGA modes (320x200x256) used by most games.
I will however release a graphics capable library based somewhat
on the libdgl that I did some years ago, but with a totally
different goal (more on that later, there is still too much
work to be done on that one).
