Somewhere between 2.0R and 2.1.0R FreeBSD has lost the ability to determine my remote screen/window size automatically on telnet login. "stty -a" reports the screen size in effect. Remote software is NCSA Telnet 2.6 on a Macintosh typically with window size of 80x32. Activating "Set Screen Size..." menu option in NCSA Telnet correctly updates my FreeBSD session but I'd like to automate this step. NCSA Telnet thinks its a vt220 and still works correctly when connecting to Irix 5.3 and FreeBSD 2.0R. Thanks.
