Unfortunately, however, the machine is not recognizing the Broadcom BCM5721 gibabit Ethernet card, despite the fact that (based on archived mailing list posts, at least) this card is supported on at least 6.1-RELEASE. I'm running a generic kernel, and haven't tweaked any fancy networking options; it's about as bare-bones a config as you can get. Given the fact that the base system is a Tyan Transport GT20 B2865G20S4H (see http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856152019 , which is where I got it), and the dmesg/ifconfig output below, can anyone help me figure out why this card isn't being recoginzed? Additionally, any info as to the "acpi_bus_number: can't get _ADR" lines would be appreciated, though those appear to be a non-issue based on other posts I've seen.
