Well, I tried the NateBSD patches and ... I can hear the modem! However, on a TP560, suspending with a card in still hangs the system hard. (I set the two new sysctl's to 1, for lack of knowing any better; I've never sysctl'd before. Irregardless, my results mirror those of John Polstra exactly. I think he's also packing a 560.) SoooOOOoo...I'm not adversely affected by the changes. I think the modem speaker at least should go in! Aside from that, Nate and Mike can fight the rest of it over out in the parking lot. :-) (Oh, and what I'm talking about here is -STABLE with the Nate patches of this morning.) Brian
