Yes, start reading the continuous flood of messages.  If you dont
understand what they mean, look it up in either the handbook, or in
dejanews. The groups comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.*,mailing.freebsd.* have
complete archives of almost every questions ever asked.  If your specific
situation is not there, post a question here with details of what the
'continuous flood' is.
