My Realtek card in my 5.0 workstation is fully capable of saturating a 100mbps link. It's an 8139; the only thing I did that might have been unusual was forcing the media/mediaopts after bad experiences with rl's autodetect in the past. Perhaps if you give me more information about your setup I could better reproduce it. :-\ -Cliff L.
