For example: you don't really need the swap to survive a crash, so there's no need to introduce the overhead of mirroring it - better to leave 2x the space configured as swap area. If you have more than one area, the system should take advantage of it and use both to maximize speed (in theory this should work as an implicit RAID0 across the swap areas). --------------enig65FDBB6085CFF7DAC921DCD2 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFmU4GldnAQVacBcgRAixsAKCQHtk9a80B6i7q9sjZMyH+EwhZqgCgjWkv mHrVTJ5zg1CVjtQ8N+QISa8= =BVHJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig65FDBB6085CFF7DAC921DCD2--
