Eg if i type daily and then return i get command not found. The same problem also occurs when i write a file to be interpreted PERL eg somefile ( do chmod +x somefile to make it executable) and then press return. From this i get command notfound. What am i doing wrong, some assitance would be appreciated. Also if you install the PERL5 package will it write over the existing PERL4.036 or create a new directory giving you a system with two versions of PERL.I am running Freebsd2.2.6. regards Guy To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
