If you're going to document these deprecated options, do it completely and correctly: what you've added to the manual page and usage() suggests that "-j 1 2" is valid, and the other forms of -a, -j and -o are still missing. I'd rather we kept this as it was before your change, though, in order to discourage use of these options. (For comparison, note that head(1) and tail(1) do not document deprecated options in the manpage synopsis or usage().) Tim
