I've been getting an odd message from my sc-200/micropolis disk combo.

(Sorry, no dmesg output. Its a new install, and I havent had the time to get
networking up yet. More details avail on request)

The upshot of the message is (occurs after drive is detected and probed):

M_DISCONNECT recieved but datapointer not saved
	data = 9fa4, save = 2bdd70, goal = 2bdd94.

In addition, drive performance seems particularily slow. Ie: a dd
reports ~250k transfer rate from the drive, and interactive disk
stuff seems sluggish. Under Win95, on the other hand, the drive
seems speedy enough, and Norton thinks its a pretty fast drive.

I grepped the archives, and saw a post by Joe Greco back in Dec 96

(http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/search.cgi?words=micropolis+disconnect&max=300&source=freebsd-scsi&docnum=1)

who had very similar error messages as I did, but I didnt see any responses to
that post.

System: P5-200MMX, Asus TXP4 MB, 64 Mb RAM, Asus SC-200, FreeBSD 2.2.2R
(June/July 1997 CD)
