But I'm not entirely sure how much advantage I (w. FreeBSD) can take of the new features. I've shuffled through most of the datasheets over at matrox.com but they consist mostly of buzzwords and haven't made me wiser. So if some of you have some experience with this card, please share! ;) Those Q's that roams in my head are these: Can FreeBSD use the TV-tuner (eg. through fxtv)? Does the TV-tuner support stereosound (eg. Nicam)? Does the video-capture support stereo? As to the DVD-capabilities. Does the G450 have some HW mpeg2-decoer and css-descrambler and is there some software on FreeBSD that can take advantage of this?
